Removal of Corrupt NJ Mayor.
In May 2018, My Minute Minute's crew traveled down to Stafford Township, NJ after hearing about ongoing political corruption returning to the presiding mayor. Mayor John Spodofora, who has been involved with the council since 1988, obtained his status by flashing stolen valor from faux military achievements early in life. While this made news in 2016, it didn't stop Spodofora seeking reelection for 2018. Confirmed accounts showing illegally placed campaign signage violating township and county road codes were one of the few shady tactics his administration utilized. Shortly after we aired the episode highlighting these practices, Spodofora's administration lost the public vote and will terminate in late 2018.
