Rockaway Township Council President Loses Appeal
On September 14, 2018, My Minute Minute's services were requested to broadcast LIVE the 10:30PM council meeting of Rockaway Township held at 65 Mount Hope Rd, Rockaway Township, NJ. The meeting was not properly notified to the residents with newspaper publications 48-hours prior to the meeting. The council president, Jeremy Jedynak was advised of this wrong-doing and illegal action; yet, the young tyrant pushed forward with appointing unqualified and unethical personnel and enacting unethical ordinances with a corrupt council majority.
On October 1, 2018, RT resident, Lisa Salberg, presented formal complaint in Morris County Courthouse before Judge Minkowitz against Rockaway TWP and the council president, Jeremy Jedynak, Patty (Patricia) Abrahamsen, Tucker Kelly, Phyllis Smith, Victor Palumbo, acting clerk Christina Clipperton & Interim Mayor Paul Minenna. Judge Minkowitz heard the case and ruled in favor of plaintiff that the Sep 14, 2018 meeting was not properly notified and violated OPMA act. Council President named judge Minkowitz an "activist judge" and appealed the order. Days later the appellate court reviewed Jedynak's appeal and denied the request. |
